"My passion for sport goes far beyond just watching or playing - it’s about the people, their journeys, and the transitions they face. Over the years, I have developed a real interest in sparking conversations around one of the most overlooked aspects of an athlete’s life: preparing for what comes after their professional career.
That passion led me to co-create The AfterShow, a platform dedicated to honest, educational conversations that help athletes and other professionals think critically about life beyond their current roles. Too often, athletes find themselves unprepared for sudden career shifts, whether due to injury, being dropped, or simply the natural end of their playing days. For many, their current earnings may not sustain them through retirement, making adaptability and continued education essential.
At its core, The AfterShow is about more than storytelling. it’s about creating a space where people can learn, connect, and be inspired to plan for their future, no matter where they are in their journey."
